Wireless systems have introduced new technologies including additional security measures, different applications, and new languages and development tools. This session covers the infrastructure of wireless networks, development of applications for wireless devices such as PDAs and smartphones, and security protocols for extra authentication and encryption necessary because of the free accessibility of the radio waves used in wireless transmission.
